Ferguson’s Country Store & Restaurant was established in 1973 by Jim and Scottie Ferguson to create a space where local artisans could showcase and sell their handcrafted goods. Many of these talented craftsmen have been offering their unique creations here for over 20 years. Constructed from native stone and lumber, the building itself reflects the charm of a bygone era, with distinctive chandeliers crafted from old wagon wheels, cultivator wheels, and logging chains. Behind the store, you’ll find a furniture factory showroom where heirloom-quality cherry and oak furniture is handcrafted by skilled Arkansas artisans. In fact, the table where you’re seated may have been made right here in the Ozarks and is available for purchase in our store.

In 1978, the Ferguson’s generously donated the entire property to the North Arkansas Community College Foundation. Continuing the legacy, Ferguson’s Country Store & Restaurant was sold in 2021 and purchased by Sue Goodman of Saint Joe, ensuring that the time-honored traditions would endure.
